Meet Our MMA Striking Coach

Stennis Floyd II grew up in Compton and Hawthorne, CA.

He joined the U.S. Army in 1986 as a Cannon Crew member.  He started boxing while he was stationed in Hawaii during the Fall of 1987.  He has won 3 State Golden Gloves titles:

• Hawaii (1989)
• California (1993)
• Mid-Atlantic Region (1999)

He was ranked the 5th best boxer in the Nation after placing 3rd overall at 178lbs in 1999.

Coach Floyd has competed in Boxing tournaments in Tahiti & Indonesia, as well as the United States.

He became a Professional Fighter in the Fall of 2007 with an outstanding victory.   He has been teaching boxing classes in the Northern Virginia area for three years.

Stennis loves teaching the “Art of Boxing” to everyone & makes it fun while you learn.

He brings a wealth of Boxing & Striking knowledge to our Team.
