Meet Professor Chad LebrunWhen he first started competing, Professor LeBrun was training in Atlanta under Romeo Jacare Calvancanti and wanted to test his skills against other trained fighters. At that time, MMA was called Vale Tudo, which is Portuguese for “No Rules”.
The fights consisted of one 30 minute round and there were only 3 rules: no biting , no eye gouging , no fish hooks. It was a great time, and as he continued his professional fighting career, the sport slowly transformed into what people now refer to as MMA.
Professor Lebrun had the honor to represent his country at the ISJA Sport Jiu Jitsu World Championship , where the United States took home a gold medal. He has also won medals at the prestigious Pan American games, and was an undefeated professional MMA fighter with a 4-0 record.
Professor LeBrun has traveled the world to train with only the best MMA coaches. He also has had the honor to train at the prestigious Gracie Academy in NYC. He has competed in both England and Brazil.
Now Professor LeBrun feels honored to spend his days sharing his knowledge to his students at The Lab. He is also a government contractor for the Department of Defense and the FBI where he teaches The Lab Combative System program he developed.
