Professor Chad LeBrun is a proud and honored member of Team Lloyd Irvin. This is a picture montage of his graduation to Black Belt, marking him as a master of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Professor LeBrun is the only Black Belt in Jiu Jitsu in the whole Fredericksburg area. But what’s the fuss over being on the Lloyd Irvin team?
That’s easy. Being part of the Lloyd Irvin team is a mark of distinction, and a point of honor. Getting a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is never an easy task, and takes many, many years of hard work and dedication. Anyone can buy a black belt, but it takes a master to earn one. But earning your black belt from Lloyd Irvin puts you in a different class than most.
Lloyd Irvin is one of the most distinguished Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coaches there are, as is his team. As the head of Team Lloyd Irvin, he has produced 38 World Jiu-Jitsu Champions and 41 Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Champions. Other members of Team Lloyd Irvin include UFC fighters Brandon Vera and Phil Davis, WEC fighter Muhsin Corbbrey, UWC] Champion Mike Easton, grappling phenomenon’s Mike Fowler, Jonathan Torres and former teammate Ryan Hall who placed third in ADCC.
GrapplingLeague.com ranked Team Lloyd Irvin #1 in 2004 and 2006. His team over all placed third in the adult division at the 2009 No Gi World Jiu-Jitsu Championship. In the same year, Team Lloyd Irvin placed second in the juvenile division at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship
As you can see, being a member of Team Lloyd Irvin is a mark of excellence that only the best achieve. It takes focus and determination, so that you can count yourself among the best in the sport. Professor Lebrun has devoted his entire life to this achievement and is honored to carry on the tradition.
